SEGA launches the first Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Southeast Asia Cup

On June 19, 2026 (Manila time), SEGA Asia announced the Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Southeast Asia Cup, an online tournament taking place from the end of June all the way to October. Entry to the online tournament is free.

The prizes include exclusive SEGA SEA Discord roles, event memorabilia such as a Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds shirt, and a chance to compete for the onsite SEGA x TikTok Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Southeast Asia Cup in Manila, Philippines, with a total prize pool of USD 20,000 (PHP 1.22 million, as of writing).

People may be familiar that before this, we had the Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Asia Show Tour 2025-2026 taking place across different livestreams by SEGA SEA Ambassadors and different events such as the SEGA ATLUS Festival.

Sonic Philippines understands that the online tournament is separate from the onsite SEGA x TikTok Cup which will be held in Manila, and that the online tournament may serve as a qualifier for the onsite tournament. The online tournament only allows participants 18 years old and above to be eligible. There are no clarifications yet if only residents in Southeast Asia are allowed to enter.

We will learn more details by June 27, once registration opens to the public (or hopefully sooner!).
