Sonic games discounted at SEGA's Winter Sale
Make every peso count with Sonic games speeding their way underneath the Christmas tree this Winter Sale!
It's that time of the year, folks! If you haven't gotten a good Christmas gift for yourself or thinking about getting someone a late Christmas or a New Year gift, this is your time to speed to the Steam and PlayStation stores!
The Steam Winter Sale has been ongoing since December 18, and will end at exactly January 6, 2026, 2:00 AM Philippine Standard Time.

CrossWorlds on sale
This is the second time we're seeing Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds going on sale, so if you've managed to try out CrossWorlds at the SEGA ATLUS Festival or via the promotion campaign at Game One PH branches, then now's a good time to join in and catch up with ongoing festivals, increasing your rank, and playing with friends!
Best time to get Shadow Gens, Colors: Ultimate, and Origins
We're seeing Sonic X Shadow Generations, Sonic Colors: Ultimate, and Sonic Origins going into their historical lows on Steam, so if there's any good time to pick them up, now's the time! I personally got gifted a copy of Colors: Ultimate this Christmas by my partner—so I'm really happy about that, and you should go make someone happy too!
Not the lowest for some games, but good enough
Unfortunately, you may have missed out on super big sales for Sonic Superstars and Sonic Frontiers that happened last month. Luckily, the difference is not that much, being a 100-200 pesos difference between now and last month. However, if you really want to hold out for a future sale that'll go lower, I can't stop you. Trust me, no one will fault you for getting it now rather than picking up the game when you really need it at a time where the game isn't on sale.
As low as it'll get for older games
For all games before Sonic Origins (Team Sonic Racing and older titles), they all had their base prices increased during April 2022, so as far as we know, this is as low as they'll get and they won't ever reach their historical lows for a long while. There's no need to hold out as this is the lowest they've gotten for some time now, so it's the best deal that you can get while they're still around, because of...
The games that didn't go on sale
We're seeing some games that were previously on sale but no longer; it can be assumed that due to the release of Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, the other racing titles (Team Sonic Racing, Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed, and Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing) did not go up on sale this time around. In addition, presumably because of the release of Sonic X Shadow Generations, the original Sonic Generations did not go on sale either. This is not a good sign if you haven't gotten these games already, and there's also the risk of older games being delisted on Steam; Sonic CD and the SEGA Mega Drive & Genesis Classics come to mind, with them delisted presumably to make way for newer efforts, such as Sonic Origins or SEGA's other revival projects. Whether you feel the need to get these games now or wait for them to possibly go on sale again, you won't be judged either way.
Not on Steam?
